Saturday Morning Shabbat Shachrit Services שבת שחרית

Services will be conducted live and also via Zoom with Temple Sholom. Services will start on Saturday (2/19/22) morning at 10:00 am PT.  We will use both the Siddur Hadash (Red book), Shabbat and Festival Morning, and (Blue Book), Shabbat and Festivals.  Pages will be posted on the Zoom link. We will also broadcast on our Facebook page for Temple Sholom of Ontario.

Parashat Ki Tisa 5782 / פָּרָשַׁת כִּי תִשָּׂא

Parashat Ki Tisa is the 21st weekly Torah portion in the annual Jewish cycle of Torah reading.

Ki-Tisa (“When You Elevate”) opens as God tells Moses to collect a half-shekel donation from all Israelites and to anoint the Mishkan (Tabernacle), its vessels, and the priests. The Israelites worship the golden calf and Moses breaks the tablets. Moses beseeches God to forgive, and returns with a second set of tablets. [1]
