Jewish Adult Education: Pirkei Avot

This Thursday, September 3 at 7:30 PM, our class returns to Pirkei Avot. Rabbi Epstein will lead the discussion. Last time we jumped ahead to Chapter 2 (verses 5-7) so we could finish the material on Hillel. This Thursday we will begin with Chapter 1, verses 16-18, where we will meet Rabban Gamaleil. Then we begin Chapter 2, where in verse 1 we meet Rabbi Judah the Prince (Yehuda ha-Nasi). Bonnie will send out the Zoom link during the week, and also the texts.
